dc.description.abstract The article is about Egyptian women who, led and accompanied by HRH Princess Fawzia, volunteered to aid the Egyptian army during the Arab-Israeli 1948 war. Those women were not motivated by any financial gains but were spurred by a strong sense of nationalism and duty. en_US
