Some of Our Duties

Abstract

The author counts among her duties the promotion of Egyptian women on her travels abroad. She points out that many of the government officials who represent Egypt abroad do not speak foreign languages, thus denying the opportunity for well-educated women to represent their country more effectively.

تشير كاتبة المقالة إلى أنها جعلت من واجبها نشر اسم المرأة المصرية ومكانة بين شعوب العالم وهي تتنقل بين البلاد. وتقول إنه يوجد الكثير من شخصياتنا الحكومية التي تسافر لتمثل البلاد وهم يجهلون اللغة الأجنبية، بينما يحرمون كثير من النساء المثقفات من تمثيل بلدهن بالشكل المناسب.
