Nonprofit Organizations Certification Model

Abstract

The certification regime developed by PCP in 2002-03 endeavours to set sector wide standards of good internal governance, transparent financial management and effective program delivery. The purpose is to strengthen the civil society by bridging the information and credibility gap that exists between the donors and recipient organizations. The Government of Pakistan in the Revenue Division authorized PCP as the first NPO Certification Agency vide notification no 1116(1)/2003 dated December 18, 2003.

يسعى نظام الاعتماد الذي أنشأه مركز العطاء الاجتماعي بباكستان في عام 2002/2003 إلى وضع قواعد عريضة تضمن حسن الإدارة الداخلية وشفافية الإدارة المالية وفاعلية تنفيذ البرامج. ويهدف النظام إلى دعم المجتمع المدني من خلال سد فجوة المعلومات وأزمة المصداقية القائمة بين الجهات المانحة والمنظمات المستفيدة. وقد قامت الحكومة الباكستانية في قسم العائدات بتفويض مركز العطاء الاجتماعي بباكستان ليكون أول هيئة اعتماد للمنظمات غير الربحية بموجب الإشعار رقم 1116(1)/2003 بتاريخ 18 ديسمبر 2003.
