Abstract

Management of the cultural issue in the Arab world is generally considered an intricate and complicated matter. It involves multiple factors and players, and various historical, political, cultural and ideological tendencies and compulsions. In the article Mohammed Ben-Essa reflects upon his own experience establishing a cultural society that emanated from the heart of the existing civil society in the seventies.
