dc.description AbdoulRahman Ihab, a well-known social media comedian recently encounter a near death experience through a coma. He tackles how this experience affected him and how it helped him shape his view of death and immortality afterwards. Death has often been regarded as the evil phenomenon that we inherently protect ourselves from, but have we ever asked ourselves if we could stand living without it? This audio documentary tackles Abdoul’s near death phenomenon to explore different views on death and immortality. Clinical Psychologist Alexandra Gazis explains the psychological and the cultural aspect of viewing death. Professor Robert McIntyre, a professor at the Philosophy Department at AUC also explained the rationality behind viewing death differently.
