dc.description.abstract In commemoration of the bombing of al-Mutanabbi, the booksellers' street in Baghdad in 2007, the Rare Books and Special Collections Library is holding an annual reading and poetry event. A selection of verses from prominent Arab poets reflecting the cultural prosperity of the city and the love of books is presented. This event is held globally; however, it is presented in Arabic only in the Rare Books Library. en_US
